DESCRIPTION:WHAT IS CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Since 1983\, April has been designated as Child Abuse Prevention Month. Each April\, communities are encouraged to increase awareness about child and family well-being\, and work together to implement effective strategies that support families and prevent child abuse and neglect. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				The CPCA has events and ways that you can participate throughout the month of April in order to raise awareness and help our mission to end child abuse in the Hudson Valley. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				CALENDAR\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				ALL MONTH\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Create Posters to Thank Local Law Enforcement\nJoin the Young Heroes in making posters to thank local law enforcement. For more information\, please contact the Young Heroes Parent Volunteer denise23patterson@gmail.com. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				APRIL 7\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Kids Virtual Painting Party w/ Fit4Mom\nHave your kids join together for a good cause! For just $25\, kids will be provided a kit and instructed on how to paint something special for Child Abuse Prevention Month. Proceeds will benefit CPCA. Event is at 5:00PM over Zoom. Registration is now closed. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				APRIL 8\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				#GoBlueHV\nLet’s turn the Hudson Valley blue on April 8th! Sport your favorite blue outfit (shirt\, pants\, hat\, shoes\, etc.) and tag us on Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #GoBlueHV. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				APRIL 11\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Kick Off Family Fun Event at Vassar Alumnae Grounds\nJoin us along with Q92 on the Vassar College grounds (in front of Alumnae House) from 12PM-3PM for a family fun day event. Families can enjoy delicious food from Chef Stef’s Pop Up Kitchen as well as entertainment from Two By Two Animal Haven\, Bee Bee the Clown\, Q92 music & more! 50% of sales from Chef Stef’s kitchen will benefit children and families served at the CPCA. \n			\n				VIEW EVENT FLYER\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				APRIL 12\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Keeping Children Safe Free Training\nLearn how to keep children safe from abuse and neglect by learning the signs of when a child needs your help. This free virtual training is available at 10am or 5pm. \n			\n				LEARN MORE & SIGN UP\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				APRIL 18–24\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Restaurant Week for Child Abuse Prevention\nHelp protect children when you dine in or take out. Grab a meal from our partnering restaurants and a portion of your sales will be donated back to The CPCA.
