DESCRIPTION:WHAT IS CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Since 1983\, April has been designated as Child Abuse Prevention Month. Each April\, communities are encouraged to increase awareness about child and family well-being\, and work together to implement effective strategies that support families and prevent child abuse and neglect. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				The CPCA has events and ways that you can participate throughout the month of April in order to raise awareness and help our mission to end child abuse in the Hudson Valley. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				CALENDAR\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				APRIL 1–7\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Restaurant Week for Child Abuse Prevention\nHelp protect children when you dine in or take out. A pinwheel connotes playfulness\, joy\, and childhood. It has come to serve as a physical reminder of the great childhoods we want for all children.
