Her father had died of cancer and her mother spiraled out of control with drugs. Ashleigh and her Mom were in and out of homeless shelters. At the age of just 14\, Ashleigh had become pregnant and came to the CPCA looking for help and hope. The CPCA provided parenting classes\, home visits\, and personalized case management to help equip Ashleigh with the skills to care for a baby. Ashleigh was also entering her first year of High School. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n The CPCA\, along with generous donors\, provided Ashleigh with new school supplies and clothes so that she could have a strong start to the school year. Recently\, she proudly showed the CPCA her first quarter grades\, which were all high 80s and 90s.
