In New York State, specific professionals are “mandated” by law to report cases of suspected child abuse and maltreatment. This training will meet that standard and fulfill the Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse and Maltreatment/Neglect Workshop. Mandated reporters are legally bound to make the call and submit follow-up information. All reports of child abuse or neglect should be made immediately- at any time of the day and on any day on the week- by telephone to the State Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment.

Keeping Children Safe: Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse

    10:00 AM-11:00 AM
    June 30, 2020

We are so happy with the positive response we received from this presentation that we added June dates so more members in our community can be a hero for kids!

Have you ever thought…”Something just doesn’t feel right” when you see a situation involving a child but just didn’t know what to do?

The CPCA is hosting presentations in June 2020 on “Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse” to help the community know the signs a child might need help, what to do, and how you are protected if you need to call in a report.

Registration is required. Email Rick Keller-Coffey at
rkeller-coffey@thecpca.org to register for the date and time that works best for you.

Will you join our list of HEROES committed to keeping children safe??
