About Us

The mission of the Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse (CPCA) is to prevent child abuse in the Mid-Hudson Valley.

Founded in 1973, the CPCA is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that is dedicated to the reduction of child maltreatment. Each year, we serve approximately 15,000 children, adults, and families through prevention programming, educational training, and support services—all focused on ending the cycle of child abuse.
