Dine Around Dutchess While Supporting Child Abuse Prevention
(Poughkeepsie, NY) – To kick off the start of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month, Hudson Valley residents can dine at some of their favorite local restaurants while raising funds to prevent child abuse and provide life-saving resources and programming.
The Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse (CPCA) is partnering with 33 restaurants for its fourth annual Restaurant Week for Child Abuse Prevention. Between Monday, April 1 and Sunday April 7, partnering businesses will donate between 10 and 20 percent when patrons dine in or take out. Featured businesses are in Poughkeepsie, Fishkill, LaGrangeville, Hopewell Junction, Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Hyde Park, Pawling, and Wappingers Falls.
“This event has become a signature part of Child Abuse Prevention Month for the CPCA,” said Marco Ingoglia, Executive Director of the CPCA. “It’s something that our supporters look forward to each year and provides us a special opportunity to highlight businesses who are dedicated to keeping children and our community safe.”

In addition to Restaurant Week for Child Abuse Prevention, the CPCA has other opportunities throughout the month of April for residents to get involved, spread awareness, and learn more about how to prevent child abuse. Information can be found at thecpca.org/capm2024.
