About Randall Johnson

Randall Johnson attended the University of Toledo and earned an associate degree in architectural technology and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, along with several other certifications in the engineering field.

Randall has always had an interest in developing our children; he began coaching little league baseball for McDonalds in Fishkill, New York. During a span from 1985 to 1987 his teams won two little league championships. As the fraternity’s education director, he initiated Project Thunder, a mentoring program designed to help young people with their life skills. This program provides tutors and has a goal to help middle and high school children pass the New York State Assessment and Regent’s Test.

As a result of being an active community advocate of children, their parents, educators and taxpayers, Mr. Johnson was elected to the Poughkeepsie School Board in 2006. Among his contributions while serving on the Poughkeepsie School Board is the reestablishing of pre-kindergarten, Kindergarten, Restructuring Committees, and the Liaison to the Poughkeepsie Common Council for the school board. Currently he is the Dutchess County Legislator of the 9th District in the City of Poughkeepsie.

Throughout his life Mr. Johnson has been very thankful to God for all the blessings and gifts that have been bestowed upon him. Randall has attempted to incorporate his faith in everything that he does while giving back to our community and pledges to continue to creatively use these gifts to benefit his family, our children, and the community that we share.
